MERCY Daniel 9:18

"Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy." 

Give ear, our God 
Psalm 5:1  Listen to my words, LORD, consider my lament.

and hear 
Palm 116:1  I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.

open your eyes and see 
Psalm 80:14-15  Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself.

the desolation of the city that bears your Name 
Deuteronomy 28:10  Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.
Isaiah 37:17  "Give ear, LORD, and hear; open your eyes, LORD, and see; listen to all the words Sennacherib has sent to ridicule the living God."
Jeremiah 7:9-12  " 'Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known, and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say "We are safe"--safe to do all these detestable things? We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy
