SALVATION Isaiah 49:8-9a Part 3 of 3

This is what the LORD says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, 'Come out,' and to those in darkness, 'Be free!' "  

and to reassign its desolate inheritances 
Numbers 34:13-14  Moses commanded the Israelites: "Assign this land by lot as an inheritance. The LORD has ordered that it be given to the nine and a half tribes, because the families of the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance."
Isaiah 60:21  "Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor."

to say to the captives, 'Come out' 
Isaiah 42:7  "... to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness."
Isaiah 61:1  The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, ...
Luke 4:18-19  "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

and to those in darkness, 'Be free!' 
Psalm 107:10-11  Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, because they rebelled against God's commands and despised the plans of the Most High.
