JOY Psalm 98:4-6 Part 2 of 2

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn--shout for joy before the LORD, the King.

with the harp and the sound of singing 

Isaiah 51:3  The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

with trumpets 

Numbers 10:2  "Make two trumpets of hammered silver, and use them for calling the community together and for having the camps set out."

2 Samuel 6:15  ... while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.

and the blast of the ram's horn 

Exodus 19:13b  "Only when the ram's horn sounds a long blast may they approach the mountain."

shout for joy 

Psalm 20:5  May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests.

Psalm 100:1  Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

Isaiah 12:6  "Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you."

Psalm 2:6  "I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain."
