LOVE Isaiah 61:8

"For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them."

For I, the LORD, love justice
Psalm 11:7 For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.
Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
Isaiah 5:16 But the LORD Almighty will be exalted by his justice, and the holy God will be proved holy by his righteous acts.

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. LOVE Isaiah 56:10

Israel's watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep.

Israel's watchmen
Isaiah 52:8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.
Isaiah 62:6-7 I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
Jeremiah 6:17 "I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.' "
Jeremiah 31:6 "There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim, 'Come, let us go up to Zion, to the LORD our God.' "
Ezekiel 3:17 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me."

they all lack knowledge
Jeremiah 2:8 "The priests did not ask, 'Where is the LORD?' Those who deal with the law did not know me; the leaders rebelled against me. The prophets prophesied by Baal, following worthless idols."
Jeremiah 10:21 The shepherds are senseless and do not inquire of the LORD; so they do not prosper and all their flock is scattered.
Jeremiah 14:13-14 But I said, "Alas, Sovereign LORD! The prophets keep telling them, 'You will not see the sword or suffer famine. Indeed, I will give you lasting peace in this place.' " Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds."

they love to sleep
Nahum 3:18 King of Assyria, your shepherds slumber; your nobles lie down to rest. Your people are scattered on the mountains with no one to gather them.
Romans 13:11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
Ephesians 5:14 This is why it is said: "Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
1 Thessalonians 5:6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

LOVE Isaiah 56:6-7

"And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath with out desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant--these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."

all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it
Isaiah 56:2 "Blessed is the one who does this--the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil."

these will I bring to my holy mountain
Isaiah 2:2 In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.
Ezekiel 20:40 " 'For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD, there in the land all the people of Israel will serve me, and there I will accept them. There I will require your offerings and your choice gifts, along with all your holy sacrifices.' "

Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar
Isaiah 19:21 So the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and keep them.
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.
Philippians 4:18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations
Matthew 21:13 "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it 'a den of robbers.' "

1 Samuel 13:14
"But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the LORD's command."
Daniel 7:14 "He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."

LOVE Isaiah 5:1

I will sing for the one I love a song about his vineyard: My loved one had a vineyard on a fertile hillside.

Psalm 80:8-9 You transplanted a vine from Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land.

LOVE Isaiah 1:23

Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow's case does not come before them.

LOVE Ecclesiastes 9:1-2

So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God's hands, but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them. All share a common destiny--the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good, so with the sinful; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.

but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them
Ecclesiastes 10:14 No one knows what is coming--who can tell someone else what will happen to them?

All share a common destiny--the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad
Job 9:22 "It is all the same; that is why I say 'He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.' "
Ecclesiastes 2:14 The wise have eyes in their heads, while the fool walks in the darkness; but I came to realize that the same fate overtakes them both.
Ecclesiastes 3:20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.
Ecclesiastes 9:3-4 This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of people, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. Anyone who is among the living has hope--even a live dog is better off than a dead lion.
Ecclesiastes 8:12 Although a wicked person who commits a hundred crimes may live a long time, I know that it will go better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.

LOVE Proverbs 14:22

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.

Do not those who plot evil go astray?
Proverbs 4:16-17 For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
Proverbs 3:29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you.
Proverbs 6:14 . . . who plots evil with deceit in his heart--he always stirs up conflict.
Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
Micah 2:1 Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning's light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.
Proverbs 5:23 For lack of discipline they will die, led astray by their own great folly.
Proverbs 12:26 The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness
Proverbs 3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

LOVE Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.

Hatred stirs up conflict
Proverbs 6:12-15 A troublemaker and a villain, who goes about with a corrupt mouth, who winks maliciously with his eye, signals with his feet and motions with his fingers, who plots evil with deceit in his heart--he always stirs up conflict. Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.

but love covers over all wrongs
Proverbs 17:9 Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
James 5:20 . . . remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

and receive favor from the LORD

But those who fail to find me harm themselves
Proverbs 15:32 Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.
Isaiah 3:9 The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.
Jeremiah 40:2-3 When the commander of the guard found Jeremiah, he said to him, "The LORD your God decreed this disaster for this place. And now the LORD has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because you people sinned against the LORD and did not obey him."

LOVE Proverbs 8:17

"I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me." (wisdom speaking)

I love those who love me
John 14:21, 23, 24 "Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." . . . Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me."

and those who seek me find me
Proverbs 3:13-18 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.
Matthew 7:7-11 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks you for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"

LOVE Proverbs 4:6

Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.

Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

love her, and she will watch over you
Proverbs 2:10-15 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.
