HOPE Psalm 33:18-22

But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you.

But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him
Psalm 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them.
1 Peter 3:12 "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." (Psalm 34:12-16)

on those whose hope is in his unfailing love
Psalm 6:4 Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.

to deliver them from death
Psalm 56:13 For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
Acts 12:11 Then Peter came to himself and said, "Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod's clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating."

and keep them alive in famine
Job 5:20 "In famine he will ransom you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword."

We wait in hope for the LORD
Psalm 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

In him our hearts rejoice
Joel 2:23 Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.

for we trust in his holy name
Psalm 30:4 Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name.
Psalm 99:3 Let them praise your great and awesome name--he is holy.

May your unfailing love rest upon us
