Romans 13:13-14 Part 1 of 2

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness
Ephesians 5:18  Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, ...
Leviticus 10:9  "You (Aaron) and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, ..."
Proverbs 20:1  Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
Isaiah 28:7  And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.

not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy
Luke 21:34  "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap."
Galatians 5:19-21  The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and the like. I warn you as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Peter 4:3  For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.
