John 3:18-21

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. 

Whoever believes in him is not condemned 
John 5:24  "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."

but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son 
John 1:18  No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
1 John 4:9  This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world 
John 1:4-5  In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome (or understood) it.

but people loved darkness instead of the light because their deeds were evil 
Psalm 52:3  You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth.
John 7:7  "The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that its works are evil."

Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed 
Ephesians 5:11  Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Ephesians 5:13  But everything exposed by the light becomes visible--and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God 
John 8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 14:6  Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
