John 3:17 Part 2 of 2

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 

but to save the world through him 
Isaiah 53:11  After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. 
Matthew 1:21  "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." 
Luke 2:11  "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." 
Luke 19:10  "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
John 1:29  The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" 
John 12:47  "If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world." 
Romans 11:13-14  I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.
1 Timothy 1:15  Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. 
1 Timothy 2:5-6  For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
1 John 2:1-2  My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 
1 John 3:5  But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
