Galatians 6:4-6

Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

1 Corinthians 11:28  Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread or drink from the cup. 

Then they can take pride in themselves alone 
2 Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?

without comparing themselves to someone else 
2 Corinthians 10:12  We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.
2 Corinthians 10:18  For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

for each one should carry their own load 
Galatians 6:2  Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Jeremiah 31:30  "Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes--their own teeth will be set on edge."

1 Corinthians 9:11  If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you?
1 Corinthians 9:14  In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.
1 Timothy 5:17-18  The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
