GLORY Psalm 8:3-5 Part 1 of 2

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.

When I consider your heavens
Genesis 15:5  He took him outside and said, "Look up at the sky and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
Deuteronomy 10:14  To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

the work of your fingers
Exodus 8:18-19  But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. Since the gnats were on people and animals everywhere, the magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.
1 Chronicles 16:26  For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
2 Chronicles 2:12  And Hiram added: "Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth! He has given King David a wise son, endowed with intelligence and discernment, who will build a temple for the LORD and a palace for himself."
Psalm 102:25  "In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands."

the moon and the stars which you have set in place
Genesis 1:16  God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day the the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
1 Corinthians 15:41  The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
