GRACE 2 Timothy 1:9-10

He has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 

He has saved us 
Romans 11:13-14  I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.

and called us to a holy life 
Romans 8:28  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

not because of anything we have done 
Ephesians 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.

This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed 
Ephesians 1:8b-10  With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment--to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus  
1 Timothy 6:13b-15a  ...I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time--...

who has destroyed death 
1 Corinthians 15:26  The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:54  When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." (Isaiah 25:8)
