SEEK Leviticus 19:18 Part 2 of 2

" 'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.' "  

but love your neighbor 
Exodus 20:16  "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."

as yourself 
Leviticus 19:34  " 'The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.' "
Matthew 5:43-44  "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, ..." *
Matthew 19:16  Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" *
Matthew 22:37-40  Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' (Deuteronomy 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (Leviticus 19:18) All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (See also Mark 12:29-31; Luke 10:27)
John 13:34  "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
Romans 13:9  The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery,"  "You shall not murder,"  "You shall not steal,"  "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Leviticus 19:18)
Galatians 5:14  For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Leviticus 19:18)
James 2:8  If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," (Leviticus 19:18) you are doing right. *
