SEEK 1 Chronicles 28:9 Part 2 of 2

"And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever."  

but if you forsake him 
Deuteronomy 4:31  For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.
Joshua 24:20  "If you forsake the LORD and serve foreign gods, he will turn and bring disaster on you and make an end of you, after he has been good to you."
2 Chronicles 7:19-20  "But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other  gods and worship them, then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples."
2 Chronicles 15:1-2  The Spirit of God came on Azariah son of Oded. He went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Listen to me Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you."

he will reject you forever 
1 Kings 9:6-7  "But if you or your descendants turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decrees I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. Israel will then become a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples."
Psalm 44:23  Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.
Psalm 74:1  O God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
Psalm 77:7  "Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again?"
