TRUTH 1 Timothy 6:3-5 Part 2 of 2

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words
2 Timothy 2:14  Keep reminding God's people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.

that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth
2 Timothy 3:8-9  Just as Jannes and Jambres (traditionally the Egyptian magicians in Pharaoh's court) opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
Titus 1:15-16  To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
