LOVE 1 John 2:15-17

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

Do not love the world or anything in the world
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

If anyone loves the world, the love for the Father is not in them
James 4:4 You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

For everything in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--

The world and its desires pass away
Hebrews 12:26-27 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." The words "once more"indicate the removing of what can be shaken--that is, created things--so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

but whoever does the will of God lives forever
Matthew 12:50 "For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."
