Isaiah 42:6-7 part 3

"I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness."

to free captives
Isaiah 49:9 "... to say to the captives, 'Come out,' and to those in darkness, 'Be free!' They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill."
Isaiah 51:14 "The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack bread."

from prison
Psalm 66:11 You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.
Isaish 24:22 They (the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below) will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days.
Isaiah 48:20 Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it. Send it out to the ends of the earth; say, "The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob."

and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness
Psalm 107:10 Some sat in darkness and the deepest gloom, prisoners suffering in iron chains, ...
Psalm 107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains.
Acts 26:18 "... to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
