Isaiah 6:9-10 Part 2 of 3

He said, "Go and tell this people: 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing but never perceiving.' Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn and be healed."

make their ears dull and close their eyesIsaiah 29:9 Be stunned and amazed, blind yourselves and be sightless; be drunk, but not from wine, stagger, but not from beer.
Isaiah 42:18-20 "Hear, you deaf; look, you blind, and see! Who is blind but my servant, and deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one committed to me, blind like the servant of the LORD? You have seen many things, but have paid no attention; your ears are open, but they hear nothing."
Isaiah 43:8 Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf.
Isaiah 44:18 They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.
