2 Timothy 4:8 Part 2 of 2

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

2 Timothy 1:12  That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. 
2 Timothy 1:18  May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day! You know very well in how many ways he helped me in Ephesus.
1 Corinthians 1:8  He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6  ... being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

While people are saying "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

1 Timothy 6:13-15a  In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time ... 
1 Corinthians 1:7  Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.
