Psalm 50:3 Part 1 of 2

Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.

Our God comes 
Psalm 96:13  Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.

and will not be silent 
Psalm 50:21  "When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you. But now I arraign you and set my accusations before you."
Isaiah 42:14  "For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant."
Isaiah 64:12  After all this, LORD, will you hold yourself back? Will you keep silent and punish us beyond measure?
Isaiah 65:6-7  "See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps--both for your sins and the sins of your ancestors," says the LORD. "Because they burned sacrifices on the mountains and defied me on the hills, I will measure into their laps the full payment for their former deeds."

a fire devours 
Leviticus 10:2  So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD.

before him 
Psalm 18:7-8  The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.

and around him a tempest rages 
Job 37:9  "The tempest comes out from its chamber, the cold from the driving winds."
Psalm 83:14-16  As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze, so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm. Cover their faces with shame, LORD, so that they will seek your name.
Psalm 107:25  For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.
