JOY Luke 2:10-11 Part 2 of 2

But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."

He is the Messiah 
Matthew 1:16  ... and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.
Matthew 16:16  Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
Matthew 16:20  Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
John 11:27  "Yes, Lord," she replied, "I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."
Acts 2:36  "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah."
Acts 3:19-20  "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you--even Jesus."
Acts 9:22  Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.

the Lord 
John 13:13  "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord', and rightly so, for that is what I am."
