Mark 5:40-43

But they laughed at him. 

    After he put them all out, he took the child's father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. He took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum!" (which means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!") Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

 

Matthew 9:25-26  After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. News of this spread through all that region.

Luke 8:53-56  They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said, "My child, get up!" Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened. 

Matthew 12:14-16  But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.

    Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and  he healed all who were ill. He warned them not to tell others about him.

Mark 7:36  Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. but the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.

Mark 5:35-39

    While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. "Your daughter is dead," they said. "Why bother the teacher anymore?"

    Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, "Don't be afraid; just believe."

    He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. He went in and said to them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep." 

 

While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. "Your daughter is dead," they said. "Why bother the teacher anymore?" Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, "Don't be afraid; just believe." 

Mark 5:22-23  Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live."  (see Mark 5:21-24)

Luke 8:49-50  While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. "Your daughter is dead." he said. "Don't bother the teacher anymore."

    Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed."

 

He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. 

Luke 8:51  When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child's father and mother.

 

When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. He went in and said to them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep." 

Luke 8:52  Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. "Stop wailing," Jesus said. "She is not dead but asleep."

Matthew 9:23-24  When Jesus entered the synagogue leader's house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, he said. "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him.

Mark 5:30-34

    At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"

    "You see the people crowding against you," his disciples answered, "and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?' "

    But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." 

 

Matthew 9:22  Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed at that moment.

Luke 8:45-48  "Who touched me?" Jesus asked.

    When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you."

    But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me."

    Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

Matthew 8:18  Then Jesus said to the Centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that moment.  (see Matthew 8:5-13)

Mark 10:52  "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.  (see Mark 10:46-52)

Luke 7:50  Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."  (see Luke 7:36-50)

Luke 17:19  Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."  (see Luke 17:11-19)

Mark 5:25-29

And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was free from her suffering.

 

Matthew 9:20-21  Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed."

Luke 8:43-44  And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 

Matthew 14:34-36  When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.  (see Matthew 14:22-36)

Mark 6:56  And wherever he went--into villages, towns or countryside--they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.  (see Mark 6:53-56)

Luke 6:19  ... and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.

    When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." So Jesus went with him.

    A large crowd followed and pressed around him. 

 

When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. 

Luke 8:40  Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him.

 

Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." 

Matthew 9:18  While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live."

Luke 8:41-42a  Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus' feet, pleading with him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.

Mark 7:32  There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.  (see Mark 7:31-37)

Mark 8:25  Once more Jesus put his hand on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.  (see Mark 8:22-26)

Luke 4:40  At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.  (see Luke 4:40-41)

Luke 13:13  Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.  (see Luke 13:10-17)

 

So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him. 

Matthew 9:19  Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.

Luke 8:42b  As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him.

Mark 5:14-20

    Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been demon-possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man--and told about the pigs as well. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.

    As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you. So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis (The Ten Cities) how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed. 

 

Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man--and told about the pigs as well. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region. 

Matthew 8:33-34  Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

Luke 8:34-35  

    When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus' feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

Mark 7:31  Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis.

Mark 5:11-13

    A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. The demons begged Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them." He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.

Matthew 8:30-32  Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."

    He said to them, "Go!" So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 

Luke 8:32-33  A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
